the best chance of recovery
As Executive Director, I bring a strong background in leadership, behavioral health, and organizational development. I hold a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, with a concentration in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Leadership. I've spent my career putting that training to work, including as Director of Admissions and Utilization Review, where my focus was simple to state and hard to do well: run the operation excellently, plan ahead, and get more people access to quality care.
I am passionate about building meaningful relationships with community partners and fostering collaborative partnerships that strengthen organizations and expand services. In addition to my civilian career, I've served 18 years in the US Army Reserve as a Behavioral Health Noncommissioned Officer. That service shaped how I lead, and it taught me that resilience and teamwork aren't slogans. They're daily practices.
As Executive Director, I try to build the kind of culture I'd want to work in myself: collaborative, accountable, always improving, and supportive of both our staff and the communities we serve.
As Executive Director, I lead with a focus on collaboration, accountability, and access to quality care. I hold an MS in Psychology (I/O and Leadership) from UT San Antonio, previously served as Director of Admissions and Utilization Review, and have spent 18 years in the US Army Reserve as a Behavioral Health NCO — service that still shapes how I lead every day.
